FIG Launches Lunch May 17th
FIG at the Miramar is adding lunch to its roster of market-fresh meals. It's about time the hotel restaurant at the Miramar Fairmont in Santa Monica added the meal, not least of all because of how pretty the pool area looks from the sunlit dining room at midday. Some of the new menu items include scallops with butter beans, farro salad with cherries and tomatoes, and strawberry shortcake.

Locali's ICYCLE, The Eco-Friendly Ice Cream Truck er, Bicycle
May 25 will see the maiden voyage of the "Icycle" from Locali, Franklin Village's environmentally conscious convenience store. Dressed in an old-fashioned soda fountain costume, a Locali employee will peddle to the far reaches of the eastside proffering organic icy treats like sno cones made with filtered water and organic syrups. Red Sun Sundays at Katana
